Swansea

The village of Swansea is unique from other neighbourhoods in Toronto in that it is still looked after by its own town hall. Throw in the fact that this small little pocket has natural boundaries that include a river, a pond and a major lake and you have a Toronto neighbourhood that is always in high demand.

Houses in Swansea

Most houses in Swansea were built between the early 1900’s and the 1930’s. Houses range from detached, semi-detached, bungalows, some Tudor homes and a few Victorian row houses. As you enter streets overlooking Grenadier Pond or the Brule Gardens enclave you start to see larger estate homes, some custom made and some historically rich homes.

Recently a new lot of condominiums and condo townhomes have been built in the south part of Swansea overlooking Lake Ontario mixing with older condos that have been around since the 1970’s. Renters can also find enjoyment with a section of rental buildings which are all close to TTC and alternate transportation routes.
